Sodding hell..... I and German cars don't get along...

But at least it's not a BMW.

But here we go, how can we get the battery out of this?

One 'Key'

From the backside of the key.

Slide the back button to the right.

This will release the spare key.

Image with the spare key removed.

Then altogether remove the spare key and flip the key over to the blank side.

This next part can be a little tricky.

Area for the clip to release the plastic side.

On the flat plastic side, there is a plastic clip that will open and remove the plastic blank half of the key.

I've poorly removed any identifying marks to the key.

The CR2025 should easily fall out.

Keep in mind that the positive side (+) is up.

Not as much of a pain in the backside as I thought!
